My Bio
I've always had an interest in photography, but only started taking it "serious" when I bought my first DSLR in the start of 2011. I found a natural connection with photography and exploring various abandoned locations, which I've always enjoyed doing, and it drove me to buy a decent camera in hopes of documenting these kind of places. How come I didn't make that connection sooner is beyond me now...

Derelict buildings has always struck a chord in me. Curiosity and an explorers mindset is what drives me to seek out locations that most people just shrug of as eyesores in the scenery. The dense, sometimes overwhelming, sense of isolation and the crack in time some buildings possess is what I find engrossing. Also the sense of being in a place you're not supposed to be appeals to my inner thirteen year old self. :)

"What can I say, I'm a sucker for abandoned stuff, misplaced stuff, forgotten stuff, any old stuff which despite the light of progress and all that, still vanishes every day like shadows at noon, goings unheralded, passings unmourned, well, you get the drift. As a counselor once told me -a counselor for Disaffected Yought, I might add: "You like that crap because it reminds you of you." Couldn't of said it better or put it more bluntly. Don't even disagree with it either. Mark Z. Danielewski

Urbex Road Trip

0 min read
Well, summer has certainly arrived to Denmark and the bright sun fucks with my eyes yet again, but it's generally nice and I don't complain too much. The nights and early mornings - where I'm most active - are wonderful, and is to me what summer is all about. I'm practically nocturnal during spring and summer. So I want to take this opportunity to hit the road tomorrow at dusk, when there's just enough sunlight for photographing, for a little day of cross Denmark urban exploring. Backpack's already packed, batteries are charged and I'm good to go. There's a bunch of locations I want to check up on. Place I've been to before, but haven't ph

thanks for the watch!
Hejsa Mike!

Very nice photos my friend. Congrats...
I wish I could find some buildings and places like the those you photographed.
Thank you.

I'm sure you can find something like this; you just got to start looking for them. :)
